Welcome to the Paekākāriki School Parent Teacher Association. Formed in 2013, our goal is to strengthen the links between the school and parents/whānau/community. We work together to achieve the goals and vision set out in our school charter. We do this in a number of ways, including organising events where school and whānau can get to know each other better; run events and activities to raise money for facilities, resources or equipment; and help link the many fabulous skills our whānau have with what the school or teachers may need in delivering their programme for our young people.
From this page you can access our key documents, including our constitution and our plan for the year. You can also find agendas and minutes for our meetings, the latest news about activities and events, and most importantly, how to contact us if you have questions, ideas, or want to be involved.
The school is critical to our community and the PTA is a great way to be involved and help support the school, your children and the wider community. The more people lending a hand the less everyone needs to do. I would encourage you to consider being involved – come along to a meeting to find out more or ring/email me or one of the committee members.
